The Aquadump

One of my most popular model for its versatility and user friendly qualities. The Aquadump paddles and gains speed like a groveler while performing like a shortboard. The design was created as a stubbier hybrid shortboard that could still perform in good surf. It features a flat, skatey deck, high performance bottom contours and a medium-full soft rail. Your go to board if you were going on a trip and could only bring one board. The Aquadump has been tested in everything from mushy California beachbreak to pumping Mexican points.

  • The parallel rail lines and relaxed entry rocker are fast through flat sections in weak surf. The generous tail rocker adds control at high speeds and allows the board to be surfed top to bottom. The Aquadump features a moderate single to double concave with vee out the tail. This gives the board effortless speed and lift when surfed on the front foot while maintaining the drive and rail to rail transition to crank turns in the pocket.

  • Typically ridden 4” shorter, 1/4” wider and 1/8” thicker than your standard shortboard. When ridden as a thruster, this board maintains the control to be surfed vertically in steeper waves. As a quad, it generates unparalleled speed and drives effortlessly through silky carves. As a result, I recommend ordering the Aquadump as a 5 fin setup.
