The Burning Spear
A step up/mini gun designed for sitting way out the back, picking off bombs and getting in early. Best suited for deep water spots (ie. Ocean Beach SF and Blacks) where paddle power is critical. Features a beak nose with plenty of volume up front. The narrowed out pintail is drastically thinner and features lots of rocker. All this along with the modern bottom contours create a dynamic big wave board that paddles like a boat, holds well in the tube and can be driven hard on rail.

The wide point forward outline and beak nose create lots of volume under the core for paddling power. This is complemented by a relaxed entry rocker in the nose to get you over the ledge when scratching into a bomb. The pulled in pintail with generous exit rocker allow for knifing into steep, critical tubes. Deep double concave runs through the board allowing it to be driven from rail to rail.

This model can be ordered anywhere from the 6’2 - 9’ range depending on the waves it is geared for. Generally ridden as a quad or thruster.
